So living as an LGBTQ+ identity is not an easy life to live, and everyone’s story is unique and inspiring in its own way.
From learning to stop listening to all the false stigmas loved ones tell you, about a community that has done nothing to them, to cutting off those close relationships that might not support you and your journey, the road can definitely be tough at times.
But though this life can be tough at times, let’s get through this together, let’s live this life as best we can, and leave this world in a better place than we found it.
We all have our own unique gifts and skills to share with the world, so let’s use that to make the difference we wish to so desperately see!
I really do hope this poem I wrote can help empower you to get through whatever struggle or challenge you’re currently facing and So without further a due, let’s jump right into the poem✨
Dear Trans People,
I’m sorry people don’t understand you. I’m sorry people put you in a box and judge you without first listening to your story.
You are courageous, you are strong, and you are powerful.
It takes extreme bravery to be you, to live your story even when people try to write it for you.
To live this life is not easy, to fight everyday to just be you, to live in a world where you can feel all alone at times, and to develop this strength and bravery along the way that many will never want to acknowledge.
I know it can be hard to navigate through your path of self-discovery, but I urge you, keep on pushing, keep on getting through one obstacle at a time, and eventually you will reach that light at the end of the tunnel, and when you do, you’ll have this beautiful story to one day tell the world.
Let’s fight this fight together, let’s help people who might not be in our community, to better understand us and to pave a legacy for our younger generations to one day carry on.
So let’s come together as one, rise above any challenge that stands in our way, and continue making this world a better place for you and me.
And that concludes today's blog post 'Dear Trans People'. I really hope you all found this blog post useful and please feel free to send me a message regarding any of this, I'd love to know about you and your journey! Goodbye for now and I'll see you all very soon in my next blog post!
